With decades of experience in the reining horse industry, HRH offers their clients invaluable knowledge & professional resources. As the decade long manager of HDC Quarter Horses Hubert took his clients to achieve status of NRHA #1 Owner and has managed the careers of top stallions such as Arc Gunnabeabigstar and Shining In Town. Known to have a great eye on selecting horses Hubert has been successful in buying, selling, showing and managing top performing reining horses. Hubert is an international competitor, notably representing the Netherlands at the World Equestrian Games and All American Quarter Horse Congress Ltd Open Champion.

Cara Heule has diverse equine and business related experience. She worked professionally in famous large scale training & breeding ranches in Texas including Sterling Ranch and Green Valley Ranch. She studied business at the University of North Texas.

Hubert Heule is an NRHA Judge and an NRHA professional. Hubert shows Open caliber horses owned by customers in local and international competition. With a background of riding for and with world renowned ranches and legendary horsemen in the industry, he has trained horses and riders with consistent results. Including starting the careers of many successful show horses such as Mr. Masota Star, Cee Mr Stop and Mr Royal Hollywood. HRH attends numerous practice and competitive shows throughout the year in Canada and the USA.

His sire is Hollywoodstinseltown (Hollywood Dun It x Miss Tinseltown x Great Red Pine), the winner of $178,156 and the sire of horses with earnings of more than $2.5 million. The dam of Shining In Town is Shine Ann (Shining Spark x Lil Miss Smarty Chex).

Intro to Reining

As seen on the popular series, Yellowstone, Reining is among the fastest growing equine disciplines worldwide. Reining as a sport came from the Old West culture where horses were a vital part of every working livestock ranch. Nothing quite compares to the atmosphere generated by the passionate crowds and thrilling action of a Reining competition. Encompassing the traditions and horsemanship skills of the Old West and no shortage of razzmatazz, Reining is the ultimate all-American discipline and equestrian experience. While the sport developed from the traditional skills of ranchers, the creation of a top-level series of major shows has grown internationally.

Reining is a judged event designed to show the athletic ability of a ranch type horse within the confines of a show arena. In National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Competition, contestants are required to run a pre-selected, approved pattern, included in the NRHA Handbook. Each pattern includes small slow circles, large fast circles, flying lead changes, roll backs over the hocks, 360-degree spins done in place, and exciting sliding stops that are the hallmark of the reining horse. The NRHA Judging System is recognized as the leading format for judging an equine event that combines technical and stylistic elements coupled with consideration of "degree of difficulty."
